About Our Development

The “Poverty Point” Development will include entrances to both the Country Club, and the Lake, so residents will have the best of both worlds. The initial plans for the residential community development will include many different types of residences to attract people of different income brackets: Waterfront and Golf Course Lots, Townhomes, and Luxurious Large Mansion lots have all been laid out.

This Development is minutes away from the Marina, 30 Minutes from the lively Vicksburg, MS Casinos, 7 miles off the Interstate, and 30 minutes from the Monroe Regional Airport (serviced by Delta, Continental, American, and Northwest Airlines.

With the growth of this development, the surrounding area is starting to “boom” as well! A 2000 Acre Safari Park is literally across the street, plans for a Country Bar and Steakhouse with attached convenience store are being drawn, and a Medical Clinic is in the works as well. This goes to show that not only the State has plans for the area, but also the Private Sector as well!

We are currently exploring our options to develop and finance the project independently, work with an experienced developer with Capital to invest, or to sell the project to a development team.
